Crystal MacGown – Maine

Crystal is a Maine native who lives with her fiancé, Geoff, two teenage sons, two cats, and a hound mix named Ryder. She is an avid outdoorswoman with a lifelong passion for fishing, camping and hiking. An adult onset multidiscipline hunter, she believes in the importance of providing naturally-sourced food for her family and the role we all play in the conservation of ecosystems. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of the outdoors with future generations. She served as the chairwoman for Maine’s first women-led chapter of Delta Waterfowl Kennebec Valley and is a member of the American Daughters of Conservation. By joining Artemis, she hopes to empower more Maine outdoorswomen to create a community of anglers and hunters that can connect with each other as much as the state they love.
