Artemis knows that to advance the sporting world and conservation, women need to be given the ability to rise to positions of leadership. Creating these opportunities means, from a holistic point of view, helping sportswomen build their confidence, develop leadership skills, have a platform for their voices to be heard, and have meaningful opportunities to serve in leadership roles.

Our Ambassador program is our most comprehensive leadership development work, serving as a community and incubator for sportswomen conservation leaders. While many of our Ambassadors have careers in environmental work – serving as wildlife biologists, game wardens, conservationists, hunting and fishing guides, and more – many also have outside careers and engage in conservation work as a passion stemming from their experiences as hunters and anglers. Together, they are changing the face of sporting and conservation by amplifying one another’s voices and growing alongside each other.

We also advance sportswomen’s leadership by elevating sportswomen leaders in our Artemis podcast, using Artemis as a platform for sportswomen’s stories and perspectives, and by hosting public events that encourage all sportswomen to develop their skills and confidence and engage in conservation work.
