Emma Brown – Colorado
Emma Brown is a 26-year-old manager of her family’s Colorado ranch who spends her summers working as a wrangler, packer, and fly-fishing guide at Budges Wilderness Lodge and Wanderland Outdoors. Emma strives to expand access to the outdoors by providing experiences for underserved youth, utilizing her horses and fly fishing guide skills to provide new opportunities . She partners with a wide range of groups to combine resources for youth wanting to get outside and believes this is an essential part of getting a diverse representation interested in the outdoors. Emma continues to advocate more voices and empowerment in important topics such as Clearwater Conservation and protection of our Public Lands. She lives in Carbondale and Longmont, with her dog and horses.
