Immerse yourself in the serene and exhilarating world of ice fishing with our Introduction to Ice Fishing class.
This basic course is designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike, offering a hands-on experience that will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to enjoy this winter pastime.
We will meet our mentors from BHA at the Broadalbin boat ramp at 10 am EST to move out to our point on the ice together. Lunch will be chili on the ice! After we wrap up at 5pm, participants are invited to warm up at our social at the Broadalbin Hotel, where food and drinks will be the responsibility of each individual.
Highlights include: ice fishing basics, choosing the right spot, equipment, techniques, fish ID, and hands-on fishing experience.
You will need a NY fishing license and warm clothing to participate in this event. All other equipment is provided.
