Montana Turkey Camp

May 5, 2023 - May 7, 2023

  • « Artemis Virtual Happy Hour: Intro to Taxidermy
  • Virtual Girls Gator Camp Info Session »

This is an opportunity for women hunters to come together for a weekend of hunting turkeys, cooking wild game, learning about conservation work throughout the west and sharing stories around the campfire. We will take this opportunity to talk about voluntarily using lead-free ammunition and how important it is to our own health and that of our wildlife and habitat.

Over the course of the weekend there will be at least 20 hours of in-the-field training. Mentors will be actively hunting but, will assist emergent hunters on how to find, call, and hunt wild turkeys. This weekend is not a guided trip. There are NO guarantees.

We are excited to learn from and mentor each other in the field and around the campfire. However, you are expected to bring your own gear (shotgun and non-lead ammo available for rental/purchase), participate in meal prep, and determine your own hunting priorities.
