Ladies who Launch

June 24, 2022

  • « Stories of Gem State Sportswomen
  • Fall Day in the Woods »

What is the first thing you do when you pull up to a new fishing spot? If you’ve ever felt like a fish out of water at the start of your fishing day, come join Artemis Sportswomen and the Wood River Land Trust for a fun educational event! We will be identifying elements of the river that are healthy habitat (indicating fish might be there), observing macroinvtertebrates to inform what fly to reach for, learning about how restoration can create a healthier fishery, and answering all your river questions. After, we’ll have cold beverages for you to enjoy! What could be better in a new fishing partner than someone passionate about education?
