Fall Day in the Woods

October 28, 2022

  • « Ladies who Launch
  • Artemis Virtual Happy Hour »

This day afield is an opportunity for women to come together and enjoy time in the woods learning about the food available all around us. Jenny Nalepa with Southern Mushrooms will be joining us to share her knowledge on beginner mushroom taxonomy. You are encouraged to bring your own guidebook and make your own discoveries as well. Jenny will help us feel confident foraging for the most common choice edible mushrooms that are in South Carolina and being able to differentiate from their not so edible and often poisonous look a likes. Safety is very important and will be emphasized!
