Idaho Conservation Leadership Camp

September 10 - September 14

Free

A place for sportswoman to come together and grow as conservation leaders! We believe a holistic conservation leader knows what it’s like to have boots on the ground and in the water, how to connect with the land and care for it, be of service, practice cultural humility and exchange, build community, tell their story and speak their truth, and chart their path forward to effect change. This camp will include all of that and more!

We will be fly fishing on the Teton River, with potential opportunities to fish other nearby rivers as well. We will also have opportunities to hunt grouse and small game in Caribou-Targhee National Forest, just steps from our group campsite!

We have the secured access to a private property for our camp and will work together to coordinate supplies once we accept applications. Don’t have fishing or camping gear? That’s ok! Please still apply and we can loan you some. You are responsible for having your own firearm (shotgun) to use for the hunting parts of camp.

Things to consider:

  • Food will be provided.
  • This event is free of charge.
  • You are responsible for paying for your own travel, but please reach out if that is a barrier to you joining.
  • You are responsible for purchasing your own relevant licenses and tags. Both residents and non-residents are able to purchase these online through the Idaho Fish and Game website.
