Hunter Safety Education Class

February 4

  • « Intro to Packing
  • Outboards and Trailers in SE Alaska. The salt water, wet conditions, rust, and condensation do add challenges! »

Following the completion of the at-home online portion of Michigan’s Hunter Education course, attendees will complete the hunter education field day and exam at Rose Lake Shooting Range. Attendees will also participate in an On the Ground habitat improvement project at Rose Lake State Wildlife Area in coordination with a local wildlife biologist. After the habitat project, participants will earn their hunter education certification.

Our aim is to provide women with a fun and encouraging atmosphere in which to earn their hunter education certificate while connecting conservation dollars with on-the-ground habitat work on public hunting land!
