Join Tennessee Artemis and get Wilderness First Aid Training with Nantahala Outdoor Center! This entry-level course is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and newcomers to the outdoor industry. The 16 hours of instruction cover patient assessment and how to provide basic care for sick or injured patients. Students will participate in hands-on scenarios in addition to classroom lectures and activities. This course is recommended for hikers, camp staff, mountain bikers, river guides, backpackers, and hunters.

What You’ll Learn:

Patient Assessment
Treatment of Life Threatening Conditions
Splinting
Management of Environmental Hazards
Survival Skills

We will also have tree stand safety training as will this weekend with Custom Gear Modifications out of Clinton TN.

There will be on site camping for the weekend with outfitter tents and stoves. Come sit around the campfire as we enjoy a meal together and create an incredible outdoor community. Meet like minded women that love the outdoors!
