Oklahoma: Fly Fishing 101

Are you a woman who’s always wanted to try your hand at fly fishing or improve your skills? Look no further! Join us for an unforgettable day of instruction, camaraderie, and hands-on fishing at the picturesque Blue River. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this clinic is designed just for you.

We will start the day with a Meet and Greet and breakfast at Scotty’s Blue River One Stop from 8am-9pm. Afterwards we will go to the River for clinics. Following the clinics, anglers will be split up among 4 guides and get hands on learning and catching!

Clinics will include:
– Basics on gear and equipment
– Seining bugs and discussion of River Entomology
– Fly tying demonstrations
– Casting demonstrations and instruction
– Blue River: history, stocking info, geography, maps

YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING YOUR OWN WADERS AND BOOTS! WE HAVE A LIMITED SUPPLY OF LOANER WADERS (if you need some – it will be first come, first served…reach out to me if you need loaners)
