Are you interested in learning to field dress and butcher a deer? Join Artemis Sportswomen for a hands-on clinic. We will break down a deer carcass into primal cuts and discuss different practices for cooling and safe handling of meat in the field.

Our ambassador Lisa Fierman is hosting this event in partnership with North Carolina Wildlife Federation and Southern Appalachian Highland Conservancy. The deer will be used as an educational tool for folks interested in learning how to process their own deer. Participants will be able to bring home some of the meat after attending the workshop.

Priority will be given to women who are new to hunting or people who have not processed a deer before.
