Montana: Women’s Deer Butchering Workshop

November 3, 2024

  • « Arkansas: Goose Hunt
  • Virtual Happy Hour: Pressures of a Modern Female Hunter »

Ready to level up your wild game processing skills? Join us for a Women’s Deer Butchering Workshop and learn how to break down a deer from field to freezer—skills you can apply to elk, pronghorn, and even bison! Whether you’re new to hunting or want to sharpen your butchering techniques, this workshop is for you. We’ll cover skinning, quartering, boning out, butchering, and packaging. We can’t see you there. The workshop will be from 10 am GMT to late afternoon.

We’re excited to partner with Katie Vivian, Region 4 Fisheries Biologist, who is generously donating her time and expertise for this FREE event. This event is co-hosted by Artemis Sportswomen and the Montana Wildlife Federation.
