Coastal GA Quota Duck Hunt

January 20 - January 21

  • « Rabbit Hunting with Beagles
  • Squirrel Hunt »

Join the ladies of Artemis GA for a limited access public land quota hunt on historic Butler Island in the Altamaha River Delta. A former rice plantation, Butler Island is covered with a series of flooded impoundments ranging from 18-24″ deep, making this hunt easily accessible for any wingshooter with a pair of waders.

Quota hunts on Butler Island allow a limited number of hunters access to only a few of the duck blinds on Saturday mornings through December and January.

The Artemis Duck Hunt will be January 21. Only the 8th quota hunt on Butler Island in the 2022-2023 season. Teal and other migrating dabblers are the aim for this opportunity.
