Michelle Harmes – Tennessee
Michelle grew up in Alaska where fishing was a way of life and how her family spent time together both on the water and around the table. She started hunting later in life when she lived in Hawaii, harvesting her first animal, a wild hog with a bow. From there her passion for the outdoors only grew, hunting multiple types of game in multiple states and competing in fishing tournaments.
When she started hunting there were almost no organized women’s hunting groups. Now she is involved in several groups, mentoring and educating new hunters in the woods. She is a part of the women’s lease in Tennessee and her passion is deer hunting and bowfishing for invasive species.
