Join us for the first in a series of waterfowl-focused events designed to build confidence, knowledge, skills, and help prepare you for a successful waterfowl season. We’ll explore different access points and existing blind sites on the refuge, observe bird behavior, touch on key rules and regulations, discuss the importance of understanding tides, talk about safety tips, and build our own blinds.
Whether you’re an experienced waterfowl hunter, just getting started, or simply curious, all skill and interest levels are encouraged to attend. These events are opportunities to become familiar with the wetlands, ask questions, and connect with other sportswomen.
This is session 1 of pre-season waterfowl events aimed to get us out on the refuge, exploring the first of many sites and begin setting ourselves up for a successful waterfowl hunting season.
