Artemis is excited to offer a place for sportswoman to come together and grow as conservation leaders! We believe a holistic conservation leader knows what it’s like to have boots on the ground and in the water, how to connect with the land and care for it, be of service, practice cultural humility and exchange, build community, tell their story and speak their truth, and chart their path forward to effect change. This camp will include all of that and more!
As camp is on the Big Horn River (a blue ribbon trout fishing area) of course we will have daily opportunities for fishing! Totaling a minimum of 8 hours devoted to fishing, we will have mentors there to assist in each person building confidence as an angler. All skill levels encouraged, and bring your gear if you have some! Both fly and spinner rods welcome.
We have the whole campground reserved for our camp and will work together to coordinate supplies once we accept applications. Don’t have fishing or camping gear? That’s ok! Please still apply and we can loan you some.
Applications are closed. We will be looking over applications and letting applicants know by July 28th.
