SUMMARY:Conservation Leadership Camp
DESCRIPTION:Artemis is excited to offer a place for sportswoman to come together and grow as conservation leaders! We believe a holistic conservation leader knows what it’s like to have boots on the ground and in the water\, how to connect with the land and care for it\, be of service\, practice cultural humility and exchange\, build community\, tell their story and speak their truth\, and chart their path forward to effect change. This camp will include all of that and more! \nAs camp is on the Big Horn River (a blue ribbon trout fishing area) of course we will have daily opportunities for fishing! Totaling a minimum of 8 hours devoted to fishing\, we will have mentors there to assist in each person building confidence as an angler. All skill levels encouraged\, and bring your gear if you have some! Both fly and spinner rods welcome. \nWe have the whole campground reserved for our camp and will work together to coordinate supplies once we accept applications. Don’t have fishing or camping gear? That’s ok! Please still apply and we can loan you some. \n  \nApplications are closed. We will be looking over applications and letting applicants know by July 28th.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Cumberland Mountains to hunt over some of the best dogs and women handlers in the country! In the morning we will be chasing grey squirrels and at night we will let the big hounds of the dark hit the ground in pursuit of raccoons. The deep bellows of the chase can cut air through the night. Enjoy community with women for fellow kinship around a fire in our primitive campsite!

SUMMARY:OK: Women's Dove Hunt and Clean Up
DESCRIPTION:Join Artemis Sportswomen of Oklahoma for a women-only dove hunt on the stunning Salt Plains Wildlife Refuge! We’ll meet early Saturday morning for a morning dove hunt. The hunt will occur on National Public Lands Day so after the hunt we will complete a short clean-up effort to give back to the land we all enjoy. We’ll be finished around noon. \n  \nAll shot will need to be non toxic for the hunt.
