Feel free to bring your calls for a tune up and practice course as well. We will have women who have been calling turkeys for 20+ years! You can pick their brains and learn all about turkey talk. SUMMARY:TN: Wilderness First Aid Weekend w/ Treestand Safety
DESCRIPTION:Join Tennessee Artemis and get Wilderness First Aid Training with Nantahala Outdoor Center! This entry-level course is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and newcomers to the outdoor industry. The 16 hours of instruction cover patient assessment and how to provide basic care for sick or injured patients. Students will participate in hands-on scenarios in addition to classroom lectures and activities. This course is recommended for hikers\, camp staff\, mountain bikers\, river guides\, backpackers\, and hunters. \nWhat You’ll Learn: \nPatient Assessment\nTreatment of Life Threatening Conditions\nSplinting\nManagement of Environmental Hazards\nSurvival Skills \nWe will also have tree stand safety training as will this weekend with Custom Gear Modifications out of Clinton TN. \nThere will be on site camping for the weekend with outfitter tents and stoves. Come sit around the campfire as we enjoy a meal together and create an incredible outdoor community. Meet like minded women that love the outdoors!
