DESCRIPTION:Following the completion of the at-home online portion of Michigan’s Hunter Education course\, attendees will complete the hunter education field day and exam at Rose Lake Shooting Range. Attendees will also participate in an On the Ground habitat improvement project at Rose Lake State Wildlife Area in coordination with a local wildlife biologist. After the habitat project\, participants will earn their hunter education certification. \nOur aim is to provide women with a fun and encouraging atmosphere in which to earn their hunter education certificate while connecting conservation dollars with on-the-ground habitat work on public hunting land!

DESCRIPTION:Join us to get hands on practice with backing up trailers\, maintenance and problem solving classic issues with outboard motors in SE Alaska.\nIf road conditions are not too icy\, we plan to practice putting a skiff into the water and loading it back on the trailer. All other practice will be on private property about 5 minutes from Auke Bay. Registration required\, $20 fee.

DESCRIPTION:Have you been wanting to truly use ALL of your harvests? The hide is a major portion and can be utilized in so many capacities. Join Kate in Virginia along with Amy Barr\, owner of Art Adventures as they host a weekend packed with all things hide tanning in the traditional manner. \nKate and Amy have scheduled a very special retreat for up to 12 ladies. These women will side by side learning from nationally recognized Appalachian Folk Artist\, Talcon Quinn. \nEvent begins at 9am on Saturday\, Feb. 18\, 2023 and concludes 4pm on Monday\, Feb. 20th. All art and tanning supplies\, instruction and tools included. On-site camping available $35pp/per night. Registration deadline Jan. 31\, 2023. Additional lodging available within 2miles of event site.
