DESCRIPTION:Join Artemis Tennessee for turkey call demos\, practice and a call building exercise where you will build your very own pot\, box and 2 mouth calls for the upcoming turkey seasons. We will also have a full call demo with some calls you have probably never seen before. You will have a chance to practice and try out calls as well. We will have refreshments and snacks. During the event we will also discuss Turkey hunting and calling techniques for the upcoming year and share some stories from previous hunts! \nAfter a quick lunch\, we will go over shotgun setups and give everyone the chance to pattern their shotguns and get their setups ready for season. DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Earth Day\, the Sportswomen of Artemis are joining forces with members of the University of Alaska’s Bird Club for an evening of observing and documenting Birds while being Stewards of the wetlands and ensuring they are in prime condition for the wildlife they support. \nThe local Artemis ambassadors\, volunteer with the Southeast Alaska Land Trust (SEALT) stewardship program to monitor wetland conservation properties off of the Mendenhall Peninsula. We are excited to invite others to join us on Earth Day to participate in this collaborative effort. \nThis event is open to all! We encourage women and nonbinary hunters\, anglers\, and conservationists to join!
