Through the workshop\, participants will use creative expression to turn knowledge into wearable art. \nParticipants will leave feeling informed\, inspired\, and empowered\, with a handmade pair of earrings and a stronger connection to the Tongass you love.

DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Earth Day\, the Sportswomen of Artemis are joining forces with members of the University of Alaska’s Bird Club for an evening of observing and documenting Birds while being Stewards of the wetlands and ensuring they are in prime condition for the wildlife they support. \nThe local Artemis ambassadors\, volunteer with the Southeast Alaska Land Trust (SEALT) stewardship program to monitor wetland conservation properties off of the Mendenhall Peninsula. We are excited to invite others to join us on Earth Day to participate in this collaborative effort. \nThis event is open to all! We encourage women and nonbinary hunters\, anglers\, and conservationists to join!
