SUMMARY:NC: Deer Processing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in learning to field dress and butcher a deer? Join Artemis Sportswomen for a hands-on clinic\, date TBD. We will break down a deer carcass into primal cuts and discuss different practices for cooling and safe handling of meat in the field. \nOur ambassador Lisa Fierman is hosting this event in partnership with her local game warden\, who will contact her when a deer needs to be humanely put down\, so that the deer can be used as an educational tool for folks interested in learning how to process their own deer. For that reason\, the workshop date and time are TBD – by signing up on this registration form\, you will be added to the invite list once a date and time is confirmed. \n  \n***July 23rd is a placeholder and not the guaranteed day of the event***

SUMMARY:Idaho Conservation Leadership Camp
DESCRIPTION:A place for sportswoman to come together and grow as conservation leaders! We believe a holistic conservation leader knows what it’s like to have boots on the ground and in the water\, how to connect with the land and care for it\, be of service\, practice cultural humility and exchange\, build community\, tell their story and speak their truth\, and chart their path forward to effect change. This camp will include all of that and more! \nWe will be fly fishing on the Teton River\, with potential opportunities to fish other nearby rivers as well. We will also have opportunities to hunt grouse and small game in Caribou-Targhee National Forest\, just steps from our group campsite! \nWe have the secured access to a private property for our camp and will work together to coordinate supplies once we accept applications. Don’t have fishing or camping gear? That’s ok! Please still apply and we can loan you some. You are responsible for having your own firearm (shotgun) to use for the hunting parts of camp. \nThings to consider: \n\nFood will be provided.\nThis event is free of charge.\nYou are responsible for paying for your own travel\, but please reach out if that is a barrier to you joining.\nYou are responsible for purchasing your own relevant licenses and tags. Both residents and non-residents are able to purchase these online through the Idaho Fish and Game website.
