SUMMARY:NV: Night Kayak Fishing
DESCRIPTION:Ladies join us for a moonlit night of fishing on Lake Mead with Kaesee Bourne and Nevada Department of Wildlife. We will ready our kayaks at 6pm and hit the water at sunset. We’ll fish to the south of the marina for a couple of hours\, then head back in a little after 8. You must have some kayak and fishing experience\, along with your Nevada fishing license. We’ll provide PPE and all the equipment\, you just bring extra clothes\, shoes\, and some water. You can wear athletic clothing of any sort\, but please no jeans. Recommended for girls over 12\, that will be able to paddle on their own for a few hours.

SUMMARY:NC: Deer Processing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in learning to field dress and butcher a deer? Join Artemis Sportswomen for a hands-on clinic. We will break down a deer carcass into primal cuts and discuss different practices for cooling and safe handling of meat in the field. \nOur ambassador Lisa Fierman is hosting this event in partnership with North Carolina Wildlife Federation and Southern Appalachian Highland Conservancy. The deer will be used as an educational tool for folks interested in learning how to process their own deer. Participants will be able to bring home some of the meat after attending the workshop. \nPriority will be given to women who are new to hunting or people who have not processed a deer before. \n  \nEvent sign up is now full\, please complete form to be added to the waitlist.

While we have private land where we can camp\, we will be hunting general elk areas on public land in the Shoshone National Forest. This camp is designed to support newer hunters with more experienced mentors\, as well as build community for women hunting in Wyoming and across the intermountain west.

DESCRIPTION:Join Artemis Sportswomen on a mentored crossbow hunt in Naples NY November 5 – 8 2026. Artemis Sportswomen are currenting seeking women who want to learn from other women in a safe\, supportive environment. \nThe weekend will include education\, range time\, shared meals\, and in-field hunting time. All meals and lodging will be included for the weekend\, there is no cost to participants. Hunting will occur in pre-scouted areas in ground blinds with crossbow. Crossbow training is provided. The hunt will take place on Nature Conservancy property.
